Driver’s Ed Class Information

Class

Our class includes:

• Thirty class hours of classroom instruction using the curriculum “Responsible Driving” (in-person only) and
• Seven hours of behind the wheel driving.

Enrollment Requirements

• Student must be 15 years old by completion of classroom instruction.
• Must obtain a permit before driving instruction begins.
• During the six months after obtaining the permit, student must drive 50 hours (including 10 at night) with a parent, guardian, or licensed driver over 21.

Refund Policy

We are no longer able to provide any refunds after registration and any payment has been made.

Note to students and parents: Appropriate dress is required. No cell phone usage (texting, talking, apps) during classroom hours except during breaks. Cell phones must be silenced.

Rescheduling of Missed Classes:

Students will be given one day of extended class at the completion of the 30 hours of classroom instruction. If the student misses more than one day of class, the student will be given the opportunity to make up their missed days when the next 30 hour class is offered to make up the hours needed.

If any driving sessions are missed, the student will have to reschedule the day or days missed with the instructor at his convenience.

Curriculum

Textbook and curriculum being used in the class by the Instructor is “Responsible Driving” by the American Automobile Association.
